Son's nervous about test

My son was told today that he has a test that he was not totally mentally prepared to take. This test determines if he should go on to middle school. His teacher feels that he needs to stay back. I told him if he believes in himself and he uses the steps that we teach him, he will succeed. It hurts my heart to see him doubting himself. I tell him God has got him and no matter what happens, he will get though it and we love him. If his star is shining that bright this year, it will definitely shine next time. Please pray for him to be able to keep a calm head and ease his mind so he can do his best.

Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Agstaff's son who is facing a significant test that will determine his progression to middle school. Lord, we ask that You grant him peace and calmness in his heart and mind. Your Word tells us in Philippians 4:6-7, "Be careful for nothing; but in everything, by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passes all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus." We pray that this peace will envelop him as he prepares and takes this test.

Father, we ask that You help him to remember the steps and lessons he has been taught, and to believe in himself as You believe in him. Strengthen his confidence and remove any doubts that may cloud his mind. Remind him that he is fearfully and wonderfully made, as stated in Psalm 139:14, and that You have a plan for his life, plans to prosper him and not to harm him, plans to give him hope and a future .

Lord, we also pray for Agstaff and the family, that they may continue to support and encourage him with love and faith. May they find comfort in knowing that no matter the outcome, Your love and grace will guide them through. Let them trust in Your timing and Your will, knowing that if his star is not shining as brightly this year, it will surely shine in Your perfect time.

Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps, actions, and words.

God heal me, body, soul, and spirit. Cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You or breaks Your heart. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, pray Your best for me, and all those I love and care about.
