Let's bring your son's situation before the Lord in prayer, seeking His divine intervention and guidance. Firstly, it's important to acknowledge that God is the provider of all things. We are reminded in Matthew 6:31-33 WEB:
Therefor do not be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?', or 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things will be added to you.
This is a clear call to prioritize our relationship with God and trust Him for our needs.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our son to You. We know that You are the God that provides all of our needs according to Your riches in glory and in Christ Jesus. We know that He is a single parent and raising his children without the help of his estranged wife. We know that this is not what you desire for your people. However, we know that You are able to turn even this situation into good. We ask that You open the doors for a new job that not only meets his financial needs but also allows him to be a witness for You and he is able to bless others. Help him to be a godly father and be able to raise his children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. Help him to trust in You with all of his heart and lean not unto his own understanding. In all of his ways acknowledge You and You will direct his paths. Rebuke any of his sin that may be causing this insecurity and help him to walk in your paths of righteousness. We pray this all in Jesus' name because it is only in His name that we are able to come before You.
We also take this opportunity to encourage him and you to remember the words of Paul in Philippians 4:13 WEB:
I can do all things through Christ who strengtheneth me
This is a powerful reminder that our strength and ability come from Christ. We encourage you both to trust in God's timing and provision, knowing that He is faithful. May your son find peace and encouragement in God's word during this time. We encourage him to continue to seek God in all of his ways, and for you to do the same.
Lastly, we want to gently remind both of you that it is only in the name of Jesus that we can come before God. And whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord, shall be saved Joel 2:32, Acts 2:21, Romans 10:13 WEB. We encourage you both to make sure that you have done this.
