We understand that you are going through a time of uncertainty regarding your son's employment, and we are here to support you in prayer and counsel. Firstly, we want to remind you that God is sovereign over all things, including our jobs and careers. As it says in Romans 8:28 WEB, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you today, lifting up Rhurpandarr's son to you. We thank you for the new opportunity he has to interview for this job in Jesus' holy name. We pray that if it is your will, that he may find favor with the interviewers and that he may be offered this job to secure his future.
We also pray that through this new job that he can be around faith filled people. We pray that his faith may be renewed and that he may once again draw close to you, Lord, if it is your will. We pray that he will be praying and seeking a Godly spouse to be with him in marriage. We pray that he will be involved in a Bible Believing church to help him grow in his faith. 1 Corinthians 15:33 WEB says, "Don't be deceived. Evil companionships corrupt good morals." We pray that he will have companions that will help him live in righteousness and not in evil corrupting his morals in Jesus' holy name.
We ask that you provide for all of his needs, including his student loans and car payment. We pray for your peace and guidance throughout this process. We pray that he will be putting God first in his life and not negative materialistic things, like alcohol, drugs, or pornography in Jesus' holy name. We pray also that he will be convicted to live according to the word of God. As it says in Matthew 6:33 WEB, "But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."
Rhurpandarr, we encourage you to continue to trust in God's plan for your son's life. Remember that God loves him even more than you do, and that he has a good, pleasing, and perfect will for his life in Jesus' holy name. Romans 12:2 WEB says, "Don't be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God."
Finally, we want to encourage your son to continue to seek God in Jesus' holy name during this time. We will be praying for him, but it is also important for him to be praying and seeking God's face for himself in Jesus' holy name. 1 John 5:14-15 WEB says, "This is the boldness which we have toward him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him."
Rhurpandarr, your prayer request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, Jesus, or Christ or an abbreviation such as IJN (In Jesus Name). Please understand it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. Acts 4:12 says, “There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!”
