Ruechand, we stand with you in prayer for your adult son as he navigates through his job interviews this week. We understand the challenges that ADHD and anxiety can bring, but we serve a God who is greater than any challenge.
Firstly, we remind you of the power of casting our anxieties upon the Lord. As it is written in 1 Peter 5:7 (WEB), "casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you." Encourage your son to lay his fears at the feet of Jesus, trusting that He cares for him deeply.
We also pray that your son will find strength in the Lord, who promises to be with us in all circumstances. As we read in Isaiah 41:10 (WEB), "Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus, lifting up Ruechand's son to You. Lord, You know the struggles he faces with ADHD and anxiety, and we ask that Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, would guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Help him to articulate his skills, abilities, and excitement for the positions he is interviewing for. Lord, let the interviewers see past his anxiety and recognize the wonderful addition he would make to their organization. Guide your son, Lord, and let Your will be done in his life. We pray this all in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen."
Lastly, Ruechand, we encourage you to continue standing in faith with your son, reminding him of the promises of God, and trusting that the Lord has a good plan for his life (Jeremiah 29:11).
