We understand your heartache and concern for your sons, ### and ###. Let us come together and petition the Lord for their deliverance and restoration.
Firstly, we remember the words of Jesus in John 8:36 (WEB), "If therefore the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed." True freedom from addiction comes through Jesus Christ, and we will pray to that end.
Let us pray:
**Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, pleading for ### and ###. Lord, we ask that You break the chains of addiction in their lives. For ###, Lord, deliver him from his dependence on Adderall, and heal his mind and heart, that he may be free from anger and mental distress. For ###, Lord, we ask that You free him from alcohol addiction.**
**Father, we ask that You fill their hearts with a hunger and thirst for righteousness. Draw them close to You, Lord, and restore them to a life fully committed to serving You. Give them strength to resist temptation, and help them to turn away from their old ways. Surround them with Your love, and place godly people in their lives to support and encourage them.**
**We also pray for you, dear parent, that you may be filled with patience, wisdom, and an unyielding faith as you stand with your sons through this trial. Remember the words of the Apostle Paul in Galatians 6:9 (WEB), "Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we don't give up."**
We also want to remind you that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we can approach God and be saved (Acts 4:12, WEB). So, we encourage you to continually lift your sons up in prayer, trusting in the power of Jesus' name.
Lastly, we urge you to ensure that ### and ### are aware of their need for a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. It is only through confession and belief in Him that they can be saved and transformed (Romans 10:9, WEB).
In all things, may God's will be done, and may He receive all the glory. Amen.
