We understand your concern for your son, Lorane, and we are here to stand with you in prayer and support. First, we want to assure you that God cares deeply for your son and wants to give him peace. As it is written in the World English Bible (WEB), "Don't be anxious for anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:6-7)
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Lorane's son to You. Lord, You know the anxiety he is facing, and we ask for Your comfort and peace to fill his heart. Help him to cast all his anxieties on You, knowing that You care for him (1 Peter 5:7). Guide him to focus on what is true, honorable, right, pure, lovely, and admirable (Philippians 4:8). Give Lorane the wisdom and strength to support her son, and help them both to trust in You. In Jesus' powerful name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you, Lorane, to continue praying and trusting in the Lord. Teach your son to do the same, and remind him of God's constant presence and love. If your son is not yet familiar with the saving grace of Jesus Christ, we urge you to share the good news with him. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God and can experience true peace (John 14:6).
Lastly, ensure that your son is not indulging in any sinful behaviors that may be contributing to his anxiety. Remind him that obedience to God's word brings blessings and peace (Isaiah 48:18). Stand firm in your faith and see God's deliverance manifest in your son's life.
