We join with you in lifting up your son before the throne of grace, trusting in the power of Jesus' name. We appreciate your faith in Jesus by praying in His name.
Firstly, remember the promise in Matthew 21:22 WEB: "All things, whatever you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive." We claim this promise for your son's situation.
Regarding your son's attention and responsibilities, we pray for a spirit of diligence and focus over him. In Colossians 3:23 WEB, it says, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men." We pray that your son would apply this principle to his academic tasks. God values excellence and faithfulness in all we do.
If your son is struggling with focus or foresight, it is good to remember that discipline and attentiveness are learned skills. It may be good to discuss these topics with him to guide him toward better courses of action which lead to good grades, a better education, and a better future. We must remember that all things have the potential to glorify God and our lives should reflect that.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in the name of Jesus, lifting up needhelpsobad48's son. Lord, we ask for Your grace and mercy to be upon him. Help him to focus and pay attention to his tasks today. Guide him to turn in his assignment and his schedule for next year with his counselor.
Father, we pray for a spirit of diligence and responsibility to be instilled in him. Help him to understand the value of hard work and planning ahead. Lord, we ask for Your wisdom to guide him as he makes decisions about his future.
We also pray for needhelpsobad48, that You would give them the wisdom and patience to guide their son. Help them to be a positive influence and to lead their son in the way he should go.
Finally, we pray that Your will be done in this situation. We trust in Your promises and know that You are faithful.
The more we come to know of Jesus Christ the more we will be able to pray in His will which is perfect.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
