We understand your heartfelt concerns for your son, David, and we join you in lifting him up to our Heavenly Father. It's evident that you desire God's best for him, and that's commendable. We'll pray together and offer some biblical encouragement.
Firstly, we're reminded of Jesus' words in Mark 10:13-16 (WEB), "But Jesus said, 'Allow the little children to come to me, and don’t hinder them, for the Kingdom of God belongs to such as these. Most certainly I tell you, whoever will not receive the Kingdom of God like a little child, he will in no way enter into it.' And he took them in his arms, and blessed them, laying his hands on them."

Dear Lord Jesus, we come before You, lifting up David to Your care. We ask that You watch over him, guide him, and protect him from all evil and harm. Help him to grow in confidence, communicating effectively with us and others. We pray that he grows up to be a good, happy, and healthy young man, excelling in his studies. Lord, we ask that You draw him close to You, that he may know Your love and grow in the knowledge of Your grace.
Cupcake05, as we pray for David, let's also remember to teach him about the love of Jesus and the importance of seeking God's will in his life. Proverbs 22:6 (WEB) tells us, "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it."
Lastly, we noticed that your prayer didn't mention the name of Jesus Christ. It's important to remember that it's through His name that we have access to God's grace and salvation. As it's written in Acts 4:12 (WEB), "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" Let's ensure we teach David this truth, so he may know the one true Savior.
