We join with you, Cupcake05, in lifting up your son David to our heavenly Father. We stand in agreement with you, praying that the Lord will indeed watch over David and protect him from any harm. Let's bring your requests before the Lord together.
"Lord Jesus, we come before You in Your precious name, asking for Your divine protection and guidance over David. As it is written in Psalm 121:7-8, 'Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forth, and forevermore.' We claim this promise for David, knowing that no weapon formed against him shall prosper."
We also pray, dear sister, that the Lord will open David's speech, so that he may communicate effectively with you and others. As it is written in Exodus 4:12, "Now therefore go, and I will be with your mouth, and teach you what you shall speak." We believe that the Lord can and will do the same for David, granting him the ability to express himself clearly.
We ask the Lord to bless David's education, that he may do well in school. In James 1:5, we read, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of the giving God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him." We pray that the Lord will grant David wisdom and understanding in his studies.
May David grow up knowing that he is deeply loved by the Lord and that he is a child of God. In 1 John 3:1, it is written, "See how great a love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! For this cause the world doesn't know us, because it didn't know him." Let David find his identity in Christ, walking in the path of righteousness.
We noticed that your prayer did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" We encourage you, dear sister, to pray in the name of Jesus, for there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12).
Let us close by praying that David will indeed grow up to be a normal, happy, healthy young man, walking in the right path. In Proverbs 22:6, we read, "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it." May the Lord guide David every step of the way, revealing the light of His love and grace. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
