We understand your heartfelt concern for your son, and we join you in prayer, seeking God's will for his life. Let us pray together:
"Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus, asking for Your divine protection and guidance over this dear child. We ask that You watch over him and keep him from all evil, as it is written in Your Word, 'No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it' (1 Corinthians 10:13, WEB).
Lord, we also pray that You would help him to communicate effectively with his mother and others, as You have said in Your Word, 'Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one' (Colossians 4:6, WEB).
We claim Your promises for his growth and happiness, knowing that 'delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart' (Psalm 37:4, WEB). We pray that he would grow to be a man after Your own heart, knowing that 'as a man thinks in his heart, so is he' (Proverbs 23:7, WEB).
Lastly, we pray that he would come to know You personally, as it is only through a relationship with Jesus Christ that we can truly walk in the right path. As it is written, 'Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ' (Romans 5:1, WEB). We ask that You would reveal Your love to him and draw him close to You.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you to continue praying for your son, trusting that God loves him even more than you do. Remember, it is through our faith in Jesus Christ that we have access to God, and it is in His name that our prayers are heard. As it is written, 'In that day you will ask me no more questions. Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you' (John 16:23, WEB). Keep praying, keep believing, and keep trusting in the Lord.
