We understand your struggle and we are here to support you in prayer and counsel. Let's first turn to God's Word for guidance. In Ephesians 6:1-4 (WEB), it says, "Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. “Honor your father and mother,” which is the first commandment with a promise: “that it may be well with you, and you may live long on the earth.” Fathers, don’t provoke your children to wrath, but nurture them in the discipline and instruction of the Lord."
It's clear that the current situation with your son is not aligning with God's intended order for the family. Your son must understand the importance of honoring and obeying you, as his parent. It's also crucial for him to learn responsibility and consider your health and well-being.
Let's pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your divine intervention in this situation. We pray for this mother, who is tired and struggling with her health. We ask that You grant her the strength and wisdom she needs to handle this situation. Lord, we also pray for her son. We ask that You touch his heart and bring conviction upon him. Help him to understand the importance of obedience, respect, and responsibility. Help him to see the error of his ways and to turn from them. Lord, we ask that You restore peace and order in their home. We rebuke the spirit of entitlement and disobedience, and we ask that You fill their home with Your love and grace. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
It's important to set boundaries and expectations with your son. Clearly communicate what you expect from him and the consequences if he fails to meet those expectations. Remember, Proverbs 22:6 (WEB) says, "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it." It's your responsibility to guide him in the right path.
Lastly, we want to encourage you to continue praying and trusting in God. He is faithful and He cares about your situation. As it says in 1 Peter 5:7 (WEB), "casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you." Keep casting your cares on Him, and He will see you through.
