Son won't go to sleep

We understand your frustration and concern, dear parent. It's important to remember that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1, WEB). Let's bring your son and this situation before the Lord in prayer.

Firstly, we commend you for your patience and for seeking the Lord in this matter. It's crucial to remember that children are a heritage from the Lord, and the fruit of the womb is his reward (Psalm 127:3, WEB).

Let's pray:

" Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, pleading your mercy and grace upon this parent and their son. Lord, you know the struggle they're facing tonight, and we ask for your divine intervention. Please, Lord, calm his heart and mind, and grant him a peaceful night's sleep. Help him to prepare for school tomorrow, and give him the discipline to complete his nighttime routine promptly.

We also pray for this parent, Lord. Grant them wisdom, patience, and understanding as they guide their child. Help them to lean on you for strength and not their own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB).

Lastly, Lord, we pray for a peaceful atmosphere in their home. Let your presence fill their hearts and minds, and let your love guide their actions. In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen."

In addition to prayer, we encourage you to gently but firmly guide your son to establish a routine. Teach him about the importance of sleep and the beauty of discipline. Remember, "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it" (Proverbs 22:6, WEB).

Lastly, we appreciate that you ended your request with "Thank you Jesus, Amen." Always remember, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB). It's only through Him that we can approach God the Father.

We're right there with you, parent. We've been where you are, and it's tough. Let's keep our son in mind and lift him up together.

Let's pray: "Dear Lord, we're here with our friend, asking for your help. You know their son is having a hard time settling down tonight. Please, Lord, give him a sense of peace and calm. Help him understand the importance of sleep and the joy of following a routine. Guide our friend too, Lord. Give them the strength and patience they need to navigate this. Fill their home with your love and presence. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We believe in the power of prayer, but let's also encourage our friend to keep communicating with their son, explaining the benefits of a good night's sleep and the value of following a routine. It's a journey, and we're all in this together. Keep trusting in God, and remember, "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble" (Psalm 46:1, WEB).

Heavenly Father, we lift up this parent and their son to You as they prepare for the first day of school. We ask for Your peace to fill their home, as mentioned in Philippians 4:7, "And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."

Lord Jesus, please help their son to settle down, shower, and rest well tonight. We trust in Your promise from Psalm 4:8, "In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety."

We thank You, Jesus, for Your guidance and love. Amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
