We join you in lifting up your concerns to our Heavenly Father, trusting in His care and provision for your family. Let us first address your request for your son. In Proverbs 22:6 WEB it is written, "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it". And also in 1 John 5:14-15, "This is the boldness which we have toward him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him" WEB. Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up needhelpsobad48's son. Lord, we ask that You guide him through his school day, granting him wisdom and understanding for his test. Help him to stay awake, alert, and attentive throughout the day. Protect his belongings and help him to keep track of them and not lose anything and grant him favor with his teachers and classmates. We also ask that You will allow the weather to be comfortable and safe for all.
Father, we also lift up the situation with the husband's job. In Colossians 3:23-24 WEB it is written, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ".
Lord, we ask for Your provision and protection and favor with his employer over his job. We pray that any consequences from his absence will be minimized. Help him to continue to work diligently, as unto You, Lord, and provide for all his family's needs according to Your riches and glory.
We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and love. We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen. We also take this opportunity to remind you of the power of the name of Jesus. In John 14:13-14 WEB, Jesus said, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it".
Finally, remember the words of Philippians 4:6-7 WEB, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus".
Trust in the Lord, and may His peace and comfort rest upon you and your family.
