We are truly heartbroken to hear about the struggles your son is facing, but we are also filled with hope knowing that our God is a God of deliverance and restoration. Let us stand with you in prayer and offer some biblical encouragement.
Firstly, we need to remember that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. It is in His name that we find salvation, healing, and deliverance. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." Let us pray that your son encounters Jesus and surrenders his life to Him.
In Ezekiel 36:26 WEB, God promises: "A new heart will I also give you, and a new spirit will I put within you; and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh." We claim this promise for your son, praying that God will give him a new heart and a new spirit, delivering him from his addictions and trauma.
We also pray that God will help your son to become a Godly man, putting off his old destructive behaviors and putting on new God-honoring ones. As it is written in Ephesians 4:22-24 WEB: "that you put away, as concerning your former way of life, the old man, that grows corrupt after the lusts of deceit; and that you be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and put on the new man, who in the likeness of God has been created in righteousness and holiness of truth."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up Phroulor's son to You. Lord, we know that You are a God of miracles, and we ask for a miracle in his life. Deliver him from his addictions and the trauma that has held him captive. Give him a new heart and a new spirit, and help him to become the Godly man You created him to be.
We pray that he would encounter Jesus and surrender his life to Him. We rebuke the enemy and his destructive plans for your son's life, and we declare victory in Jesus' name.
We also pray for Phroulor, that You would give them the strength, wisdom, and peace they need as they stand with their son through this difficult time. Help them to be a beacon of Your love and hope to him.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, we encourage you to continue standing in the gap for your son. Your prayers are powerful and effective. As it is written in James 5:16 WEB: "...The effective prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much." Keep praying, keep believing, and keep trusting in God's promises.
