Heavenly Father,
We come before You with hearts filled with concern and hope for Varrulron's son. Your Word tells us in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in us, whom we have received from You. We are not our own; we were bought at a price. Therefore, we ask for Your divine intervention in Varrulron's son's life, that he may come to understand the value of his body and spirit as temples of Your Holy presence.
Lord, we know that You are a God who breaks chains and sets captives free. As it is written in John 8:36, "So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed." We pray that You will break the chains of addiction that are holding Varrulron's son captive. Fill him with Your Holy Spirit and give him the strength to overcome the urge to drink.
Father, we also ask for wisdom and guidance for Varrulron, that they may know how to support and encourage their son effectively. James 1:5 tells us, "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him." Grant Varrulron the wisdom that is needed in this difficult time.
We place Varrulron's son into Your loving hands, trusting that You will work in his heart and life. We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus. Amen.
