We join you in thanking God for the fixing of your phone, and we lift up your son and his school day before the Lord. It's wonderful that you acknowledged Jesus in your prayer, for it is in His name that we have access to the Father and it is only by the name of Jesus that we can be saved. As it is Acts 4:12 "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to people by which we must be saved."
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, thanking You for the blessing of a restored phone. We lift up needhelpsobad48's son to You, Lord. We pray that You will watch over him at school, guide his steps, and protect him from any harm or trouble. We pray, dear Lord, that he will be attentive in class, that he will not lose or break anything, and that he will return home safely without any issues.
We pray for wisdom over him. We ask that Your will be done in his life. We pray, dear Lord, that he will grow in the knowledge of You, that he will be a light to those around him, and that he will walk in Your ways. We pray for his future spouse, that they may be a God-fearing person, filled with the Holy Spirit, and that he will be a Godly husband and father in the future. As Jesus taught us, we pray "lead us not into temptation but deliver us from the evil one."
Help him to be a good representative of Jesus, so others can see the hope that is in him. This hope is only found in Jesus, so we pray that once needhelpsobad48's child grows up, he will be able to articulate the gospel message. As Peter tells us, "But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect."
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged, knowing that God cares for you and your son. Remember the words of 1 Peter 5:7, "Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you." Continue to trust in the Lord, and pray without ceasing. It is important to teach your child the ways of the Lord. Teach him to pray and to rely on God for all things.
As it says in Proverbs 22:6 "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it." This is our goal and responsibility as parents, to train up Godly children. It is the Lord's will that children honor their parents, as it says in Ephesians 6:1-4 "Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. 'Honor your father and mother,' which is the first commandment with promise: 'that it may be well with you and you may live long on the earth.' And you, fathers, do not provoke your children to wrath, but bring them up in the training and admonition of the Lord." This can only be done if the parent is in the Lord.
We encourage you to continue to live a Godly life and teach your child the same. Teach him to have a Godly spouse and family. It is never too early to start teaching Godly principles.
