We understand that you're facing a stressful situation, and we're here to pray with you and offer biblical encouragement. Firstly, let's address your prayer points and align them with scripture.
In Philippians 4:6-7 WEB it says, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up needhelpsobad48 and their family. Lord, you know the struggles they're facing today, and you promise to give your people that ask and acknowledge you (2 Chronicles 7:14).
First, we ask for your grace upon their son as he takes his math test. Lord, give him understanding and recall of the material. Open the doors for him and the teacher to review before the test. We know that all wisdom and knowledge come from you. We pray for the teacher to judge fairly and knows whether the test should be delayed but only in your will, Lord. We know that Daniel had wisdom and knowledge to the point that the king wondered, as in Daniel 1:20.
We trust that the difficulties of life can be used to draw us closer to you. Help them to see how the math test is a part of life to which their son needs to apply himself and that they cannot always save him from the consequences of life. We know that the Bible tells us to teach our children the way they should go so that when they are older, they will not depart from it (Proverbs 22:6) and to discipline them to make them wise (Proverbs 19:18). Regarding the car, Lord, we ask for your intervention. You know the circumstances, and we trust that you will resolve this situation according to your will. Help them to know that you are in control and that you are good. Let them look for the lessons and blessings you have for them through this experience.
Finally, Lord, we pray for peace over this family. Cast out all anxiety and stress, and replace it with your perfect peace. Let them remember to cast all their anxiety on you because you care for them (1 Peter 5:7).
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Regarding the neighbors, we are not exactly sure of the issue, but let's remember to do unto others as we would have them do unto us (Luke 6:31, Matthew 7:12).
