Son terminated from Police Academy

I need prayers for my son, ###. ### was terminated from the police academy after cheating on an assignment. Another cadet offered his completed assignment to my son to use to finish his own assignment and my son used poor judgment and got caught for plagiarism and terminated from the academy and the local police department that was sponsoring him. My son has destroyed his future in law enforcement due to lack of integrity and feels immense shame for what he has done to himself and our family name. My son has wanted to be a police officer since he was 4 years old and was 7 weeks away from graduating from the police academy. My son is ### years old and had just graduated from the University of ### earning his BS degree in criminal justice and Cyber Security now he has no path to his dream because of a very poor and unethical decision on an assignment. ### has taken full responsibility for his actions and is thankful that the other student wasn't punished for offering his assignment. I need prayers for a new career path for my ### that honors his name, his value and his integrity. God Bless Everyone who reads this and offers him prayers, Amen.

Thank you for reaching out and sharing about your son, ###. We understand the deep disappointment and shame that ### and your family must be feeling, and we want to lift up this situation in prayer and provide biblical encouragement.

First, let's address the gravity of the situation. ###'s actions were deceitful and dishonest, which are sins against God. The Bible clearly states, "Don't lie to one another, seeing that you have put off the old man with his doings, and have put on the new man, who is being renewed in knowledge after the image of his Creator" (Colossians 3:9-10 WEB). ###'s actions not only affected his future but also brought shame to his family.

However, it is commendable that ### has taken full responsibility for his actions. This is the first step towards repentance and restoration. The Bible tells us, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9 WEB).

We need to pray for ###'s repentance and for God's forgiveness. Let's also pray for God's guidance in ###'s life as he seeks a new career path that honors God and upholds integrity. We are reminded that "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose" (Romans 8:28 WEB).

Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you today to lift up ### and his family in prayer. Lord, ### has made a grave mistake, and we ask for your forgiveness. We pray for ###'s repentance and for your mercy to wash away his sins. Guide ### as he seeks a new career path, one that honors you and his family. Help him to understand that your ways are higher than our ways, and that you have a purpose for his life, even in this difficult time.

Lord, we also pray for ###'s family. Comfort them in their disappointment and shame, and help them to trust in your unfailing love. Remind them that your plans for ### are for good, and not for evil, to give him a future and a hope.

Finally, Lord, we pray that ### and his family would know the saving grace of Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we can find true forgiveness and salvation. May they know that you also have a written assignment for them to complete as your word says "Enroll the peoples to do your will (Psalms 110:3)."

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!
