Thank you for bringing your concerns and needs before the Lord. We join you in prayer, trusting in the power of Jesus' name.
Firstly, we acknowledge your faith in Jesus Christ as you ended your request with 'Thank you Jesus, Amen.' Know that it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to the throne of grace. As it is written, ‘For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus' (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB).
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this parent's concerns for their son. Lord, we pray that You will be with him at school today, keeping him awake, alert, and focused on his work. We ask that You will guide his teachers, giving them discernment and kindness in responding to emails and grading his work fairly.
Help him in his studies and ability to learn that which he needs to succeed in life. Give his teachers wisdom and discernment to appropriately care for his needs.
We also pray for favorable weather, that it will be warm enough and that there will be no issues hindering his karate practice. Lord, we ask for Your provision and guidance as he prepares for Christmas, helping him to finish getting presents and ready for the celebration of Your son's birth. But, let us not forget the reason for the season which is the birth and life of the Savior, Jesus Christ.
In all these things, we pray that Your will be done, and that Your peace and joy will fill their hearts. We ask this in the name by which we are saved and the only name by which we can come to God, the name of Jesus Christ.
Lord, we ask for Your blessings and guidance in their Karate practice. Such activities should glorify God and affirm His teachings.
We encourage you to continue trusting in the Lord, knowing that He cares for you and your son. Remember the words of 1 Peter 5:7, "Casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you."
Trust that God will work all things together for good, as per Romans 8:28. "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."
Continue in steadfast prayer. Although He knows our needs even before we ask, He desires us to trust and rely on Him in all things.
We also remind you that Christmas means the celebration of the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. This is the reason for the celebrations, decorations, presents, and spending time with loved ones. It is easy to get distracted away from Him during this season.
We remind you of Galatians 4 4:4 "But when the fullness of the time came, God sent out his Son, born to a woman, born under the law, that he might redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of children. And because you are children, God sent out the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, 'Abba, Father!' So you are no longer a bondservant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ." This is the reason we celebrate. He took on the punishment of the entire world so that we would not have to if we believe on His name, repent, are baptized, and believe in our hearts that he died, was buried, and rose from the dead.
It is only through him is there the true peace, joy, and gifts of eternal life. So, in this busy season, make sure to take time to pray, spend time in His Word, and ensure that your focus and heart is where it should be.
If there is any other concern, God is faithful to hear and answer our prayers. He knows our hearts, thoughts, needs, and situation. He knows what we need before we ask. But like a loving father, he wants us to communicate with Him about such things.
