We understand that you are facing a challenging situation with your son's health, education, and your mother-in-law's doctor appointment. Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up needhelpsobad48's son. Lord, You know the challenges they are facing with their son's health, education, and the doctor's appointment for their mother-in-law.
Firstly, we pray for their son's health. You tell us in Psalm 103:2-3 WEB: "Bless Yahweh, my soul, and do not forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases". Lord, we ask that You heal their son and grant him the rest he needs to recover.
We also pray for their son's education. Lord, You promise in Philippians 4:19 WEB: "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We ask that You provide the help he needs to catch up on his homework and prepare for his tests.
Regarding the doctor's appointment for their mother-in-law, we pray for understanding and flexibility. Lord, You tell us in Proverbs 16:9 WEB: "A mans heart plans his course, but Yahweh directs his steps." We ask that You direct their steps and grant them favor with the lady they need to reschedule with.
Finally, we pray for peace and strength for needhelpsobad48 during this time. Lord, You promise in Matthew 11:28-30 WEB: "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light." Regarding relationships, since that was part of the instructions, we would like to remind needhelpsobad48 and everyone that God's design for marriage is a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman. As it is written in Matthew 19:4-6 WEB: "He answered, Have you not read that he who made them from the beginning made them male and female, and said, For this cause a man shall leave his father and mother, and shall join to his wife; and the two shall become one flesh? So that they are no more two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, do not let man tear apart."
We encourage everyone to pursue relationships that align with biblical principles and to honor God in all their relationships. We also want to remind them that sex before or outside marriage is fornication and should be addressed if in the context. As it is written in 1 Corinthians 6:18 WEB: "Flee sexual immorality! Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body."
Lastly, we want to remind everyone that it is only by the name of Jesus that we can be saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, through which we must be saved!" If you have not already, we encourage you to put your faith in Jesus Christ and accept Him as your Lord and Savior.
