We join with you in lifting up your son before the throne of grace, trusting that God will intervene in his academic journey. It's wonderful that you acknowledged the power of Jesus' name in your prayer, for it is in His name that we have access to God, and it is by His name that we can be saved. As the scripture says,"For there is no other name under Heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved!" from Acts 4:12 WEB
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up needhelpsobad48's son. Lord, You know the struggles he is facing in his Science class. We ask that You would give him a spirit of attentiveness, that he would pay specific attention to the lessons being taught. Help him, Lord, to be proactive in his learning, turning in his assignments promptly, and grant him the courage to ask questions when he is confused.
Father, as his major test approaches, we ask that You would grant him understanding and recall of the material. Give him wisdom and discernment, and help him to apply himself diligently to his studies. We pray that he would not be anxious about this test, but that he would trust in You, casting all his anxieties on You, because You care for him from 1 Peter 5:7 WEB.
Guide his teachers, Lord, that they would provide the support and guidance he needs. Help them to see his potential and to encourage him in his academic pursuits.
We also pray for needhelpsobad48, that You would give them wisdom and patience as they support their son during this time. Help them to guide him in the way he should go, according to Your Word.
We ask of you to remember the verse in James 1:5 WEB. "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him."
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue praying for your son, trusting that God is at work in his life. Remind him of the importance of putting God first in all things, as Matthew 6:33 WEB says, "But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."
Lastly, we want to remind you of the promise in Philippians 4:13 WEB, "I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me." Trust that God will equip your son with all he needs to succeed, not just academically, but spiritually as well.
