We join you in praying for your son, trusting in the power of Jesus' name. Let us come together in agreement, knowing that where two or three are gathered in His name, He is there among us (Matthew 18:20, WEB).
Firstly, we want to encourage you to continue trusting in Jesus, as you rightly called upon His name. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name given under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12, WEB).
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our dear sister and her son. Lord, we ask that You grant her son the grace to be cooperative today, to attend school with a willing heart, and to complete all his tasks diligently. Give him the wisdom and discipline to stay away from distractions, including the internet, and help him focus on his responsibilities. We specifically ask that You help him memorize his play and excel in his academic endeavors.
Lord, we also pray for his teachers. Give them the discernment and kindness to grade his make-up work fairly and to provide the support he needs to succeed. We ask for Your healing hand upon his stomach issues, Lord. Comfort him and restore his health, so that he may be free from any discomfort or pain.
We know that Your will is for us to prosper in all things and be in health, even as our souls prosper (3 John 1:2, WEB). We claim this promise for our sister's son, in the name of Jesus. Amen."
In addition, we encourage you to continue training your son in the way he should go, according to Proverbs 22:6 (WEB). Teach him to prioritize his responsibilities and to use his time wisely, remembering that wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom, and with all your getting, get understanding (Proverbs 4:7, WEB).
Lastly, continue to be persistent in your prayers, knowing that the effective, fervent prayer of a righteous one avails much (James 5:16, WEB). Trust that God is faithful and will answer your prayers according to His will.
