For your son, you've asked for his health and academic success. It's important to remember that God cares about every aspect of our lives, including our health and education. In Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB, we are reminded to "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." We pray that your son will trust in God, feel well, and excel in his studies.
Concerning your phone bill, car inspection, and financial needs, it's crucial to approach these approaches from a biblical perspective. Matthew 6:25-34 WEB teaches us not to worry about these things but to seek first God's kingdom and righteousness, and all these things will be given to us as well. We pray that God will provide for your needs according to His riches in glory and that you and your husband will manage your finances in a way that honors God.
However, we want to lovingly remind you that financial struggles are often an opportunity to trust God more and assess our priorities. In 1 Timothy 6:6-10, we are warned against the love of money, which can lead to all kinds of evil. Instead, we should pursue godliness with contentment, which is great gain.
Lastly, we want to address the fact that you mentioned your husband in your prayer but did not explicitly pray for him or your marriage. As a Christian, it's essential to pray for your spouse and your union, which should be a reflection of Christ and the church. In Ephesians 5:22-33 WEB, we are given clear instructions on the roles of husbands and wives in marriage. We encourage you to pray for your husband's spiritual growth, leadership, and love towards you, and for your submission, respect, and love towards him.
