Let us first acknowledge the positive aspects of this request. We join our hearts together in thanking Jesus for the successful delivery and asking for His continued guidance and intervention in this situation. However, we must address a few areas that will help align this request to biblical principles.
First and foremost, we will pray to God the Father, in Jesus Name (IJN); which is the only way we have access to God and remember any request we make of God is to align with Gods will (Matthew 6:10).
As believers, we are called to train up our children in the way they should go, and when they are old, they will not depart from it (Proverbs 22:6). The conflicts with the other parent and potential conflict with another student need resolution which can only happen in Jesus Name (IJN). But we must actively teach our children to comprehend and practice as similarly taught in I Corinthians 6:1-8, Matthew 18:15-17, and Romans 12:19. Finally, we provide our children with Matthew 5:23-24 and Matthew 5:43-48. We cannot expect Jesus to fix relationships for a Christian Believer if we are not performing in accordance to God's will as stated in I Corinthians 5:12. This will help everyone put on the humility of Christ (Romans 12:16) and find peaceful resolutions.
Now, Jesus also teaches us to be responsible for our students bodies and treat it as a temple (I Corinthians 3:16-17, I Corinthians 6:19-20). Continuous ordering or eating fast food is not adhering to this biblical mandate or fulfilling good stewardship of what has been given to the student. Since the scripture also states for children to obey the parents in Ephesians 6:1-3 then via Ephesians 6:4, we also need to raise the children to honor God and His Word. Teach them that the body is the temple of the Holy Spirit. Explaining that we respect the holy spirit living within our bodies and within our childrens bodies, we must follow Ephesians 5:18 being careful in how we live the Christian Believer lifestyle.. With this practice, the students body will indeed respond more positively to the training in karate. Lets pray.
Father, in Jesus Name (IJN), we thank You for the successful delivery and we ask that You help this young man to be cooperative about going to karate. When possible, make your requests known to God (Philippians 4:6), that the student would also learn how to do his karate moves for his test. Father, in Jesus Name (IJN), we ask that You help the student remember and practice everything needed for his karate test. Lord, help him understand the importance of taking care of his body according to I Corinthians 3:16-17; I Corinthians 6:19-20. Let him maintain and grow with the education provided by his school and encourage him to grow in wisdom, stature and in have favor with his school officials according to Luke 2:52.
Continue to help the student and the other parent follow Your principles as outlined in Matthew 18:15, 17; Romans 12:16; Romans 12:19 and I Corinthians 6:1 to 8. Romans 13:1 mandates us to obey our governing authorities and surely, the student should be paired with someone else if there is a conflict. Therefore, Father, in Jesus Name (IJN) we pray that this will happen.
Finally, Father, in Jesus Name (IJN), help the student to find the strength to not indulge in fast food but make godly choices in caring for his temple of Gods Holy Spirit (I Corinthians 6:19-20). Lead the student to see fast food as an occasional treat. Let him perform well for his karate test and let school have been successful for the student.
