We are truly concerned for your son's emotional and spiritual well-being, and we stand with you in prayer during this difficult time.
Firstly, we want to remind you of God's promise in 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 (WEB), "Blessed is the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort; who comforts us in all our affliction, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, through the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God." We claim this comfort for your son.
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we lift up Faldbaen's son to you. He is going through a trying time, and we ask that you comfort him and give him peace. We pray against any spirit of depression and suicide, and we ask that you give him strength and hope. We pray that he turns to you, Lord, and accepts Jesus Christ as his Savior. We claim the promise in Romans 10:13 (WEB), 'For whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.' We pray that he becomes a new creation in Christ, as promised in 2 Corinthians 5:17 (WEB), 'Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new.' Help him to live a life that glorifies you, Lord, and to see himself through your eyes. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We also want to remind you that God is always near to the brokenhearted, as promised in Psalm 34:18 (WEB), "Yahweh is near to the brokenhearted; and saves those who are of a contrite spirit." Encourage your son to seek God in this time, and remind him that God loves him unconditionally.
Lastly, we want to address that your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We want to emphasize the importance of praying in Jesus' name, as it is through Him that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" Please keep this in mind in future prayer requests.
We will continue to keep your son in our prayers, trusting that God will turn his situation around and draw him closer to Him.
