We understand your concerns and desire to lift up your son and mother-in-law in prayer. Let us come before the Lord together, seeking His will in these matters.
Firstly, we are thankful that you have invoked the name of Jesus in your prayer, for it is in His name that we have access to the Father and through which we are saved. As the Scripture says, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12, WEB).
Let us pray for your son as he navigates his academic journey. We trust that God will grant him the wisdom and understanding he needs. As it is written, "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of the giving God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him" (James 1:5, WEB). We pray that your son will not only pass his tests but also grow in knowledge and godly character.
For your mother-in-law, we pray for God's mercy and care. May He comfort and strengthen her according to His will. We ask that you find suitable care for her, someone who will treat her with kindness and compassion, as we are all called to do. "Therefore, whatever you desire for men to do to you, you shall also do to them; for this is the law and the prophets" (Matthew 7:12, WEB).
We also pray that God will shield your family from unhelpful interference and judgment. May He surround you with people who will support and uplift you in your time of need. Remember, "Do not judge, so that you wonβt be judged. For with whatever judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with whatever measure you measure, it will be measured to you" (Matthew 7:1-2, WEB).
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister and their family. Lord, we ask for Your wisdom and guidance for their son as he takes his tests today. Help him to remember what he has studied and give him the ability to apply it. We also lift up their mother-in-law, asking for Your healing touch and comfort. Please provide a suitable caregiver for her, someone who will treat her with kindness and respect. Shield this family from unhelpful interference and judgment, Lord, and surround them with people who will support and uplift them. We pray all these things in Jesus' name. Amen.
Continue to trust in the Lord, knowing that He hears your prayers and cares for your family. "Cast all your anxiety on him, because he cares for you" (1 Peter 5:7, WEB).
