I need urgent prayer! My son is cussing at me, throwing things and being beyond disrespectful. He does this often. I walk on eggshells every day.,just hoping he will stop hurting me...I love him. He is a gift from God. But he has been acting this way since about the age of 21. He is 27 now. I am 5'3"...he is huge, 6'4". Although God did not give me a spirit of fear, I find my self afraid and unsure what to do AGAIN. He mocks my faith. He does not have a personal relationship with God. I've prayed and prayed... I need God to fix it! I am so sad and my health seems to be getting worse! I need help! I need my Lord to fix this...and to make him stop hurting me.

Let's come together in prayer and counsel for this distressing situation. We understand that seeing your son act in such a disrespectful and threatening manner is heartbreaking, and it is important to address this behavior in a way that honors God and seeks His intervention.

Firstly, it is crucial to remember that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB). Even in the midst of this trial, we can trust in God's sovereignty and His love for both you and your son.

We must also recognize that your son's behavior is not aligned with biblical principles. The Bible teaches us to honor our parents (Ephesians 6:2 WEB) and to treat others with kindness and respect (Ephesians 4:32 WEB). Your son's actions, including cussing, throwing things, and mocking your faith, are sinful and need to be addressed.

Let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this mother and her son. Lord, You know the pain and fear that she is experiencing, and we ask for Your comfort and guidance during this difficult time.

Father, we pray for her son. We ask that You would soften his heart and convict him of his sin. Open his eyes to see the error of his ways. We pray that he would come to the knowledge of the truth, repentance, and faith in Jesus Christ. Mold him into the man You created him to be.

We also pray for this mother. Strengthen her faith to trust in You and stand firm against His actions. Help her not to walk in fear but in the confidence of Your guidance. We pray for Your wisdom and ability to know how to best handle this in a godly manner. Help her to "be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, let her make her requests known to God" (Phillipians 4:6). WEB.

In the meantime give her the wisdom to remove herself from physically dangerous situations. We know that " no weapon formed against her will prosper" ( Isaiah 54:17). Still, we need to walk in wisdom rather than fear.

Finally, pray for his salvation. As you know according to the scripture "But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become God’s children, to those who believe in His name" ( John 1:12) WEB. Seeing him mocking her faith and exhibiting such ungodly behavior, we worry about his salvation. It is only In Jesus Name that we have access to you, God. It is only in him that we can be saved. We therefore pray for his salvation and that he lives a life worthy of being called a christian.

Father, please intervene in this situation and bring peace and reconciliation to this family. We ask all this believing in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

In addition to prayer, we encourage you to seek godly counsel and support from your local church or Christian community. They can provide practical assistance and spiritual guidance as you navigate this challenging situation. Remember to stand firm in your faith and trust in God's promises, even in the face of adversity.

Lastly, do not forget to " Bring up your child in the way he should and when he is old he will not turn from it" (Proverbs 22:6) WEB. Continue pointing him to Jesus Christ, the only solution to his problems. It is never to late to repent and receive Jesus Christ, the only way to eternal life. Never stop praying for his salvation.

We're here for you, dear friend. We feel your pain and fear, and we want you to know that you're not alone in this. We're standing with you in prayer, and we're here to listen and support you.

Firstly, let's remember that God is always with us, even in our darkest moments. He hasn't given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). So, let's lean into that power and love, and trust that God is working even when we can't see it.

We also want to encourage you to keep setting boundaries. It's important to keep yourself safe, both physically and emotionally. If you need to take a step back or seek help from authorities, please don't hesitate to do so. Remember, God will never leave you or forsake you (Hebrews 13:5).

Let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come to You today, laying down our fears and anxieties at the foot of the cross. We ask for Your comfort and strength for this mother, that she may stand firm in her faith and trust in Your promises. Convict her son, Lord, and open his eyes to see the error of his ways. Help him to turn from his sin and find forgiveness and freedom in Jesus Christ. Give her wisdom to navigate this situation, and help her to keep pointing her son to Jesus, the only solution to his problems. We pray for his salvation, Lord, and we trust that it's never too late for him to turn to You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Let's keep praying, keep trusting, and keep loving, just as God loves us. You're in our prayers, and we're here for you.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!
