We understand your current struggles with your son and husband, and we appreciate your desire for God's intervention. First, we want to remind you of the power of Jesus' name and the importance of praying in His name. As it is written in John 14:13-14 WEB, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."
Regarding your son, we encourage you to remain patient and persistent in your instruction. Train him as instructed in Proverbs 22:6 WEB, "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it." Remember, it is your responsibility to guide him, and his obedience is a reflection of your consistent teaching.
Continue to pray for him and remember when praying for your husband be sure to pray for you both to grow in the faith.
Concerning your husband, we want to address that it's essential to have open communication and understanding in your marriage. We would like to bring this reminder from Colossians 3:18-19 WEB, "Wives, be in subjection to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord. Husbands, love your wives, and do not be bitter against them."
However, we must also address that your husband should be at home. God has ordained a godly marriage to be a relationship where a man and a woman come together as one flesh. This is outlined in Genesis 2:24 WEB, Therefore a man will leave his father and his mother, and will join with his wife, and they will be one flesh and echoed throughout the Bible. When this is violated or not premise of the relationship then it should give serious pause as to whether that should be continued and a godly spouse should be sought. Your husband needs to be at home with you.
If this has not happened or more has occurred that has not been mentioned then please note the biblical exception for divorce was given by Jesus in Matthew 5:32, and mentioned by Paul in First Corinthians 7:15. Please make sure to continue to pray for him and encourage him to come home and seek peace in your marriage. Continue to be a godly wife and pray that his heart would turn towards God and therefore home.
In all things, remember to pray in Jesus' name, as it is the only name by which we can be saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
We join you in prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up this mother and wife who seeks Your intervention in her family. Lord, we ask for Your guidance and wisdom as she raises her son, that he may grow in obedience and in the knowledge of You. We also pray for her husband, that You would work in his heart and draw him back to his home and family. We pray for open communication, understanding, and love between them, and that their marriage would be a reflection of Your faithful love for Your people.
Lord, we ask that You would strengthen their bond and guide them both in their individual walks with You. Help them to be a godly couple united together in your kingdom under your principals and blessed by your love.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
