Son/hurricane/mother-in-law

Jesus please let my son be ok at school today, do everything that he is supposed to, not lose anything and possibly find the stuff he is still missing and let his teacher explain to him what he did wrong on his assignment. Please also let my mother-in-law get the help that she needs, and the complaint that I made draw attention to the fact that she is being ignored by the health care system. Please let her insurance company respond about the appeal and request for home health care. This is all too much for me, please let someone step in and help. Please also help the people dealing with the hurricane and let the flood waters recede. Thank you Jesus, Amen.

We understand your concerns for your son, your mother-in-law, and those affected by the hurricane. Let us pray together and seek God's will in these matters.

Firstly, we thank you for praying in Jesus' name, as it is through Him that we have access to the Father (John 14:6, WEB).

Let us pray:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up needhelpsobad48's son. Lord, we ask for Your protection and guidance upon him at school today. Help him to fulfill his responsibilities, understand his assignments, and find what he has lost. We trust in Your goodness and faithfulness to meet his needs (Matthew 6:31-33, WEB).

We also bring before You their mother-in-law. Lord, we ask for Your mercy and healing upon her. We pray that the healthcare system and the insurance company would respond promptly and compassionately, providing the care she needs (Luke 10:30-37, WEB). This burden is heavy, Lord, and we ask for Your comfort and support. Please raise up someone to help bear this burden, as You have called us to bear one another's burdens (Galatians 6:2, WEB).

Lord, we also lift up those affected by the hurricane. We ask for Your protection, provision, and comfort. Please let the flood waters recede quickly, and provide relief and rescue for those in need (Psalm 46:1-3, WEB).

In all these things, Lord, we ask for Your will to be done. Help us to trust in You, to cast our burdens upon You, and to rest in Your care (1 Peter 5:7, WEB).

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue to cast your burdens on the Lord, trusting that He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7, WEB). Remember that God is faithful, and He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear (1 Corinthians 10:13, WEB).

As for your son, continue to teach him the ways of the Lord, encouraging him to be responsible and obedient, as this is pleasing to God (Colossians 3:20, WEB).

Regarding your mother-in-law, it is good that you are advocating for her. Remember that God calls us to honor our parents, and this includes our parents-in-law (Exodus 20:12, WEB). Continue to seek help for her, trusting that God will provide.

Lastly, it is good that you are praying for those affected by the hurricane. Remember that God calls us to love our neighbors as ourselves, and this includes praying for them in their time of need (Mark 12:31, WEB).
