We rejoice with you, MKG, as you support your children in their endeavors, and we lift them up in prayer together.
Let us pray: "Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, seeking Your will for MKG's children. Today, we lift up her son as he goes through his second interview. Lord, grant him the ability to communicate clearly and confidently, letting his skills and talents shine (Proverbs 16:3). Give him grace and favor with the interviewer, that they may see his value and potential (Psalm 90:17). We ask that if it is Your will, he may receive a job offer. Yet, we also pray for opportunities closer to home, to ease any financial burdens (Matthew 6:11).
Lord, we also bring before You MKG's daughter. As she begins her second year of college, we ask for Your grace and favor with her professors, especially those in her Architecture studio and Honors Statics classes (Proverbs 3:3-4). Grant her wisdom, understanding, and strength to excel in her studies (James 1:5).
Finally, Lord, we pray that MKG and her children may grow ever closer to You, seeking Your face in all they do. If they have not already, we pray that they may come to know Jesus Christ as their personal Savior, for it is only through Him that we have access to You, Father (John 14:6). In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen."
MKG, remember the promise in Jeremiah 29:11 (WEB), "βFor I know the thoughts that I think toward you,β says Yahweh, βthoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.β" Trust that God has a good plan for your children.
Regarding your son's potential move, remember that God's calling might lead us out of our comfort zones. Yet, also pray for opportunities closer to home, and trust that God will provide what's best according to His will.
Encourage your children to seek God's will in their lives and to trust in Him. As they pursue their careers and education, remind them of the importance of drawing near to God and living according to His Word.
