We are truly saddened to hear about the situation you're facing with your sons, Palrain. As a community we will certainly pray together with you for the desired outcome of the upcoming court hearing. Firstly, let's remember God's promises in His Holy Bible, For I know the plans I have toward you, says Yahweh, plans of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future Jeremiah 29:11 WEB. So, together let us pray in Jesus name, which is the only name by which we have access to God, Acts 4:12.
Dear Lord Jesus, as a community of Your followers we come to You, crying out for Palrain and her family, especially her oldest son, Sheldon. Lord, we ask for Your mercy and grace to be upon him as he faces this difficult court situation. We understand that he may face charges but if it be Your will Lord Jesus, have the case be looked at with favor by the judge, to keep Sheldon from having to serve jail or prison time. Lord Jesus, please convict Sheldon of the seriousness of what he did and we ask You to transform his life and forgive him as You did the apostle Paul, for Paul was a former murderer and went on to live a radical life for Jesus Christ, 1 Timothy 1:12-16. Please Jesus, don't let him follow his younger brother's lifestyle, wasting his life away, drinking, which lead to all this chaos. We know, Jesus that You gave Yourself up as a sacrifice for the sins of the world and you have also experienced great injustice, unfairness and trials while You were here on earth, and therefore, you understand this situation firsthand, Romans 8:31-39. Let Your victory and love conquer over this heartbreaking family situation, so the family members can learn to forgive each other, love each other, and make this family become a great example of a life changed and redeemed by Your Grace. Finally, let us encourage Palrain to cry out to our Lord Jesus, with her youngest son about his salvation and remind them all to know that it is only in the name of Jesus Christ we have salvation, as the apostle Peter mentioned, “And in none other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved” Acts 4:12 WEB.
