Jesus please let my son stop playing these literal and figurative mind games and just go to bed. He has a major presentation at school in just a few hours. Please also let him do well on that as well as the other assignment that he must do, which is a second chance on something he didn't do the other day. Please let his lack of a sense of urgency and responsibility and personal accountability change. He needs to grow up and stop stressing me out so much. Please also help the people of ### and the fires stop. They don't deserve this, and now someone has purposely set a fire, please let this stop and everyone somehow be able to recover and no more deaths. Please Jesus. Thank you, Amen.

We understand your concerns and will join you in prayer for your son and the situation in California. Let's first address the issue of praying in Jesus' name. You mentioned Jesus, which is wonderful, but we want to emphasize that it is through His name that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." And in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"

Now, let's pray for your son. We understand that you are frustrated with his behavior and his lack of responsibility. Let's pray that God will help him understand the importance of his actions and the impact they have on others. Let's also pray for his presentation at school today and that his assignments will be accomplished.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name. We lift up needhelpsobad48's son to You, Lord. We pray that You will help him to understand the importance of responsibility and personal accountability. Help him to grow and mature, and to consider the impact of his actions on others, especially his mother. Lord, we pray for his presentation today, that You will give him the words to speak and the confidence to present well. Now, regarding the fires in California, we will pray for the safety of the people and for the fires to be extinguished. We also pray for the individual who deliberately set the fire, that they will repent and turn to God.

Father, we pray for the people of California. We pray for Your protection over them and for the fires to be put out. We pray for the firefighters and emergency responders, that You will give them strength, wisdom, and courage as they battle these blazes. We also pray for the individual who set the fire, that they will repent of their actions and turn to You. We pray for comfort and healing for those who have lost loved ones and homes. Lastly, we encourage you to continue praying and trusting in God. Remember the words of Philippians 4:6-7 WEB: "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Trust in God, and He will give you His peace.

We also encourage you to speak to your son about his actions and their consequences. As it is written in Proverbs 22:6 WEB: "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it." Use this as an opportunity to guide and teach him.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

We continue to lift up your son and the situation in California before the Lord. Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer.

We are praying that your son has been able to rest well. God's mercies are new every morning and our Heavenly Father knows his needs. We ask that while your son is taking the first steps and has his presentation today that the words of his mouth and the meditations of his heart are acceptable in Your sight, O Lord, his strength and his Redeemer. (Psalm 19). We agree that the second change at the assignment will be successful and that his sense of urgency and responsibility will increase. God is working in his life. Thank you Lord that stress is lifted and hearts and lives are changed.

We continue to pray for the fires in California. These times can be hard, Lord, when tragedy strikes. But you are merciful. We pray for rain, for help, for provision for those afflicted. For wisdom. We claim that no weapon formed against California shall prosper; and every tongue which rises against it in judgment shall be condemned; we inherit the promises, O Lord; and obtain and delight ourselves in righteousness as our heritage, as your gift and blessing." (Isaiah 54). As a group we hold them up to God.
