Let's lift up Gwlorusor for freedom from alcohol addiction. "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" (Phil. 4:13). Praying for transformation, strength, and renewed commitment to his family. In Jesus' name!
Osphage, we understand that you are seeking prayer for your son and his relationship, as well as for your finances. Let us first consider what the Word of God says about relationships and provision.
Firstly, we must remember that God desires that our relationships honor Him. In 2 Corinthians 6:14, it is written, "Don't be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?" (WEB). We pray that your son's relationship is aligned with this principle, and if not, that God will give him the wisdom and courage to make the necessary changes. We also pray that their courtship will be pure and holy, reserving intimacy for the sacred bond of marriage, as God instructs us in 1 Thessalonians 4:3-4, "For this is the will of God: your sanctification, that you abstain from sexual immorality, that each one of you know how to control his own body in sanctification and honor."
Regarding your finances, we find comfort in Philippians 4:19, where it is written, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." (WEB). Let us pray that God will provide for your needs and that He will give you wisdom in managing your finances.
However, we notice that your request does not mention the name of Jesus. It is by the name of Jesus that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"
