Let us come together in prayer for your son as he prepares to take his ### standard CISCE board exams. We trust in God's promise in Philippians 4:6-7 WEB: "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
Firstly, we notice that Jesus is not mentioned in this prayer request. Let us remember the words of Jesus in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God, and it is in His name that we pray. We encourage you to trust in Jesus and His redeeming power.
Now let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this son who is about to take his exams. We ask, Lord, that You would grant him a sound mind and calm spirit. Cast out all anxiety and fear, and help him to remember what he has studied. We pray for divine wisdom and understanding to fill his heart and mind.
Father, we also pray for this mother, that You would comfort her and give her peace. Help her to trust in You and Your plan for her son's life. We thank you that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control.
We ask these things in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Regarding your son's struggles with his studies, be encouraged by the words of Isaiah 40:29 WEB: "He gives power to the faint; and to him who has no might he increases strength." Trust in God to strengthen your son during this time. Remind your son of Proverbs 3:5-6: "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, And do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, And he will make your paths straight."
As for your fear, remember the words of Psalm 56:3 WEB: "What time I am afraid, I will put my trust in you." Trusting in God, Jesus and His saving power, is key to handling the stress of exams.
