Please pray for ### unable to stop his alcoholism. Children involved. He is under so much pressure and fear. Childhood trauma at root of this. I pray Satan's hold on ### to be bound and destroyed. He is a believer.

We are truly saddened to hear about the struggle your son is facing with alcoholism and the impact it has on his life and his children. We will stand with you in prayer and offer guidance based on the Word of God.

Firstly, let us remember that God is our ultimate healer and refuge. Psalm 34:18 says, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." Your son's childhood trauma may have left deep wounds, but God is able to heal him completely.

Regarding his struggle with alcoholism, it is important to remember that God wants us to be sober and self-controlled. 1 Peter 5:8 reminds us, "Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour." Alcoholism can cloud judgement and hinder one's ability to resist the devil's schemes.

Let us pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, pleading for the deliverance and healing of our beloved brother who is struggling with alcoholism. Lord, You know the deep-seated pain and trauma he experienced in his childhood. We ask that You heal those wounds and break the chains of addiction that have held him captive. We rebuke the spirit of alcoholism and command it to leave in Jesus' name.

Lord, we also pray for his children, that they may be protected from the effects of this struggle and that they too may find healing and peace. Surround them with Your love and provide them with godly influences in their lives.

We ask that You fill our brother with Your Holy Spirit, giving him the strength and self-control to overcome this addiction. Help him to turn away from the temptation of alcohol and to turn towards You for comfort and peace. Remind him of the promise in 1 Corinthians 10:13, 'No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.'

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We encourage you to continue standing in the gap for your son, praying fervently for his deliverance and healing. Remind him of God's love and forgiveness, and encourage him to seek help from Christian counselors or support groups that can provide him with the tools and accountability he needs to overcome this addiction.

Lastly, we want to remind you that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. Acts 4:12 says, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved." Continue to lift up your son's situation to God, trusting that He will hear and answer your prayers according to His will.

We've been thinking about your son and the heavy burden he's carrying. We want you to know that we're right there with you, lifting him up in prayer. It's tough when someone we love is struggling, but remember, God is always near, especially in our darkest times. In Psalm 147:3, it says, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We believe that God wants to heal your son's heart and free him from the grip of alcoholism.

We've been praying for your son, asking God to fill him with His strength and courage. We've been reminding God of His promise in Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." We're asking God to give your son the power to overcome his addiction, just as He's helped so many others before.

We've also been praying for his children, asking God to protect them and fill their lives with love and peace. We're believing that God will use this situation to draw them closer to Him and to each other.

Please keep encouraging your son, reminding him of God's love for him, and helping him find the support he needs. And remember, we're here for you too. Let's keep standing together in prayer, trusting that God will work all things out for their good, according to His purposes.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
