Son & Daughter In Law

Saints of God, please pray for my son ### and his daughter ### in ###. They recently accepted the Lord as their savior and are attending a marriage group at our local group. ### and ### have two boys ages ### and ### and one on the way whom I babysit during the week to help them save money. ### and ### are struggling in their marriage due to their finances, she is still struggling with her past and they both need a breakthrough to calm the storm they have been having in their marriage.

Voghkye, we are thrilled to hear that your son ### and his wife ### have accepted the Lord as their Savior. This is truly the most important step in their lives and marriage. We will stand with you in prayer and belief for their marriage to be strengthened and restored in Jesus' name.

Firstly, it's wonderful that they are attending a marriage group at your local fellowship. This is a great step towards healing and strengthening their relationship. God's design for marriage is a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman, and it's beautiful to see ### and ### seeking help to honor this commitment.

However, we want to address something from your request. You mentioned that they are struggling in part due to ###'s past. While we don't know the specifics, we want to remind everyone that once we accept Jesus as our Savior, our past is forgiven and forgotten. As it says in 2 Corinthians 5:17 WEB, "Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new." So, we pray that ### would fully embrace her new identity in Christ and be freed from the shadows of her past.

Regarding their financial struggles, we remind them of Matthew 6:25-34 WEB, where Jesus encourages us not to worry about our lives, what we will eat, or what we will drink; nor about our bodies, what we will put on. "But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." So, we pray that ### and ### would seek God's kingdom first, and trust that God will provide for their needs.

Now, let's pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before you in Jesus' name, lifting up ### and ###. We thank you, Lord, for their salvation and their desire to strengthen their marriage. We pray for a spiritual and emotional breakthrough in their lives. Help them to fully embrace their new identities in Christ, free from the bondage of their past. We ask for your wisdom and guidance as they navigate their financial struggles, and we trust that you will provide for their needs. We also pray for their children, that they would grow up knowing and loving you. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lastly, we want to encourage ### and ### to keep their focus on Jesus Christ. It's only by His name that we have access to God, and it's only by His name that we can be saved. As it says in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." So, we encourage them to continue growing in their faith and relationship with Jesus Christ.

Heavenly Father, you are GREAT, and you are GOOD! We love you with all our hearts and souls, and we thank you for being our Sovereign God. Lord, we lift ### and ### to you today and ask that you mend their marriage. Please guide them into your abundant blessings and draw them closer to you so that they may hear your small voice obey your direction and guidance. Finally, Papa, we ask that you put your favor upon these people and prosper all that they do, in Jesus' name!

We're here for ### and ### too, praying alongside you. It's amazing to hear they've accepted the Lord, and we're believing with you for their marriage to be healed and strengthened. We've been praying for them, and we want to share some more specific petitions.

Firstly, we're asking for God's comfort and healing for ###. We know her past can't define her, and we're claiming that 2 Corinthians 5:17 over her life - that she's a new creation, and the old has passed away. We're praying for her to fully embrace this new identity and find freedom in Christ.

For their financial struggles, we're standing on Matthew 6:25-34. We're asking God to give them wisdom and guidance, and we're trusting that He'll provide for their needs as they seek His kingdom first.

We're also praying for their boys. We're asking God to protect and guide them, and we're believing for them to grow up knowing and loving the Lord.

Let's keep encouraging ### and ###. They're on a great path, and we're cheering them on. We're reminding them of Acts 4:12 - that there's salvation in no one else, for there is no other name given among men by which we must be saved. We're believing for them to continue growing in their faith and relationship with Jesus.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You.
