Son/daughter and other hurricane victims/mother in law/rent/landlord

Jesus please let my son be ok at school today and do everything that he is supposed to. Please let my daughter figure out a plan to get back to her home and her cats in the hurricane aftermath and help all the other victims as well. Please also make sure my mother in law's rent check doesn't bounce and that our landlord responds nicely to our concern about no new lease yet rent increase. Thank you Jesus, Amen.

We understand your concerns and we're here to support you in prayer and counsel. Let's bring your requests before the Lord, aligning our hearts with His will.

Firstly, we're glad you acknowledged the power of Jesus' name. As it is written, "In no other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12, WEB).

Let's pray for your son:

*Dear Lord Jesus, we bring before You needhelpsobad48's son. We ask that You be with him today at school, guide his steps, and help him to fulfill all his responsibilities. May Your wisdom guide him and Your favor be upon him. In Jesus' name, we pray.*

For your daughter and others affected by the hurricane:

*Lord Jesus, we lift up needhelpsobad48's daughter and all those affected by the hurricane. We ask for Your divine guidance and provision. May You open a way for her to return home and care for her pets. Comfort and provide for all the victims. Be their shelter and strength, as You promise in Psalm 46:1, "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble." In Jesus' name.*

Regarding your mother-in-law's rent and your landlord concern:

*Lord Jesus, we commit needhelpsobad48's financial concerns to You. We ask that You provide for their needs and intervene in the rent situation. May the rent check be honored and the landlord respond with kindness and understanding. As Your Word says, "Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved" (Psalm 55:22, WEB).*

Lastly, we want to encourage you to continue trusting in the Lord. AsHis Word says, "Don't be anxious for anything, but in everything by prayer and pleading with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God" (Philippians 4:6, WEB). Keep praying, keep trusting, and keep hoping in the Lord.

Heavenly Father, we lift up this family into Your loving hands. We pray for their son, asking that You guide him at school today. Help him to do everything he is supposed to with diligence and wisdom. Just as Your Word promises that You will teach and guide us in the way we should go (Psalm 32:8), we ask that You lead him throughout the day, filling him with peace and focus.

We also bring their daughter before You, Lord, who is trying to return home in the aftermath of the hurricane. Father, Your Word says, "The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble" (Psalm 9:9). We ask that You provide a clear plan for her to return safely, and that You also protect her home and her cats. May You extend Your mercy and grace to all the other victims of the storm, bringing them hope, relief, and restoration.

Lord, we pray for their mother-in-law’s rent situation. Let the rent check be honored without issue, and we trust in Your provision, knowing that You supply all our needs according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). We also ask for Your favor with their landlord, that they respond kindly and with understanding regarding the lease and rent increase.

We thank You, Jesus, for hearing these concerns and for Your faithfulness. In Your mighty name, we pray. Amen.
