We join you in lifting up your son and his needs before the throne of grace. Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, thanking you for your loving care and protection over this child. We ask, Lord, that you would be with his son today at school, guiding him and granting him wisdom as he interacts with others and participates in his classes. Please help him to focus and focus on the lines for his play, giving him the confidence and ability to perform well.
Father, we also bring before you the situation with his counselor. We ask that you would move in the counselor's heart and mind, granting them wisdom and understanding as they consider this child's schedule for next year. We pray that they would respond promptly and appropriately to the email sent, and that their decisions would be in the best interest of your son helping him to prosper in his studies and grow in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man just as our Lord did in Luke 2:52 "And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men."
We are in agreement that we ask all of this with boldness in the name that is above every name, Jesus Christ, expecting that God will act mightily. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God and it is only by the name of Jesus that we can be saved from eternal punishment for our sins Acts 4:12 "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." So we trust God for his son's salvation that he will believe in his heart that God raised Jesus from the dead and confess with his mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord Romans 10:9 "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." before it is too late.
We also remind you to train up your child in the way he should go, so that when he is old he will not turn from it. Proverbs 22:6 "Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it." Teach him the Word of God diligently, that he may learn it and live out biblical principles in his life, and pray for wisdom in raising him Deuteronomy 6:6-7 "These words, which I command you this day, shall be in your heart; and you shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise up."
We trust that God will hear and answer our prayers, for we ask in faith, believing. May God's will be done and may He receive all the glory, honor, and praise. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
