We are here with you in spirit, lifting up your son before the throne of grace. We know that God has a wonderful plan and purpose for his life, and this trial can be a means for him to draw closer to the Lord and grow in character.
Firstly, we want to encourage your son to trust in the Lord with all his heart, and not lean on his own understanding. In all his ways, he should acknowledge God, and He will make his paths straight. This wisdom comes from Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB: "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
We also want to remind him of the importance of perseverance and hard work. Colossians 3:23 WEB says, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men." He should continue to put in his best effort, studying diligently, and committing his work to the Lord.
However, we must also remind you that God's will is more important than our own. While we pray for your son to pass his classes, we ultimately want God's will to be done in his life. Sometimes, God allows trials and setbacks to shape us and teach us valuable lessons. As it says in Romans 8:28 WEB: "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up this young man to You. Lord, he is worried and anxious about his college classes, and we ask for Your peace and comfort to surround him. Help him to cast all his anxieties on You, because You care for him.
Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention in his studies. Give him the wisdom and understanding he needs to grasp difficult concepts. Help him to manage his time wisely and remain focused on his goals. And ultimately, Lord, let Your will be done in his life.
In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, we want to encourage you and your son to keep your faith firmly rooted in Jesus Christ. It is only by His grace and mercy that we can approach God's throne of grace with confidence. As it says in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"
