We understand your concern for your son as he embarks on this new journey in college. Let us come together in prayer and seek God's will for him during this time.
Firstly, we would like to remind you of the importance of praying in the name of Jesus Christ. As it is written in John 14:13-14 WEB, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." It is through Jesus that we have access to the Father, and it is in His name that we should pray.
For your son's anxiety, we turn to Philippians 4:6-7 WEB, which tells us, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Let us pray that your son will find this peace that surpasses all understanding and that he will learn to cast his anxieties on the Lord.
In regards to his studies, we pray that God will grant him wisdom and understanding. As stated in James 1:5 WEB, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of the giving God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him."
Let us pray together:
"Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up ###'s son as he begins his college journey. Lord, we ask that You would grant him Your perfect peace, that he would not be anxious about anything, but in everything, through prayer and petition, that he would present his requests to You. Lord, help him to trust in You and to cast all his anxieties on You, because You care for him. Guide him in his studies, give him wisdom and understanding, and help him to do all things for Your glory. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Lastly, we encourage you to continue praying for your son, trusting that God has a good and perfect plan for his life. As it is written in Jeremiah 29:11 WEB, "'For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,' says Yahweh, 'thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.'"

We're here with you, praying for your son as he starts this new chapter in college. We know anxiety can be overwhelming, but remember, God is always by his side, ready to comfort and guide him. Let's remind him, and ourselves, of Psalm 34:18, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." Let's pray that your son feels God's presence and love, especially in his moments of anxiety. We also believe, as it says in Proverbs 3:5-6, that if he trusts in the Lord with all his heart, He will direct his paths. Let's pray that God guides him in his studies, giving him the wisdom and focus he needs to succeed. We're praying with you, in Jesus' name.

We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect.
