We understand that you are seeking help for your son's academic focus and your personal health. Let us come together in prayer and seek God's will according to His Word.
Firstly, we commend you for calling upon the name of Jesus. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, and we are glad you acknowledge this in your prayer.
Let us pray for your son:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name to lift up the needs of this parent and their son. Lord, we ask that You help this young man to stay awake, alert, and focused during his school hours. Let him be a good steward of his time, avoiding distractions and personal interests during academic hours, as it is written in Colossians 3:23 WEB, 'Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters.' We also ask that You move in the heart of his theater teacher, that they may grade his assignment promptly and fairly. We trust that You are sovereign over all things, including the minds and hearts of teachers."
Now, let us pray for your health:
"Lord Jesus, You are the Great Physician, and we believe that by Your stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5 WEB). We ask that You touch this parent's body, that You restore their health and strengthen them for their daily tasks. May they also find comfort and peace in You during this time, knowing that You are always with them."
Lastly, we encourage you to continue trusting in the Lord, knowing that He cares for you and your family. As Peter encourages us in 1 Peter 5:7 WEB, "Casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you." Keep calling on the name of Jesus, and keep your hearts aligned with His will.
