Sometimes you're in situations where you have to walk

Sometimes you're in situations where you have to walk a tightrope with people you deal with. Like, to me, there's a fine line between Christian forgiveness and APPROVAL of what the person is doing.Like, I have 3 relatives coming my way, who I strongly disagree with their liberal political viewpoints,my sister, my brother in law, and my aunt.And I know they're going to bring up that subject, in an arrogant way,not caring if anyone agrees or likes it.And I'm not going to sit there and let them dump on spiritual truths I know are right, when I know they're wrong.So I pray for wisdom , and patience.Then, me and my sister were always "at odds" now we get along better, although don't agree on things.She texted me happy birthday on my birthday ,hers is coming up, so I "should" do the same, but then, would it be be hypocritical to do that , if 1 week later when she's here, like , I equate overlooking things as a form of approval of their wrong ways.Why should I wish well to someone who dances with the devil?So prayers for wisdom on "walking the tightrope".

Happy Birthday! Sometimes we have to be silent when others are wrong. Wishing someone a happy birthday can also be meant as in Jesus friend.

Praying for others especially in your situation will help you tremendously in yours friend  
 
Take no thought for your life dear friend and Jesus will take thought for you. Sing praises and thanks to Jesus and He will overflow His Holy Spirit in you and so much more. He will fight for you and give you the desires of your heart
 
Pray this prayer look up the verses and pray it again with your friends and family and let's mount up with wings as eagles and soar. Soar with me
 
Let Us Pray:  God I ask in Jesus' name, bless me to grow closer to You.  I long for a more intimate relationship with You.  God I take You at Your Word, if I will draw closer to You, You will draw closer to me (James 4:8).  Show me how to draw closer to You.   Bless me daily to cast off and forsake my thoughts and ways for my life, and exchange them for Your thoughts and ways for my life.  Let me think Your thoughts and dream Your dreams for my life.  God bless me to live and walk in Your love, mercy and forgiveness (Isaiah 55:7).  I confess, I will take no thought for my life.   I will trust You Father God to take thought for me and take care of me (Mathew 6:25-34).  I will not be wise in my own eyes, I will fear You Lord and depart from evil and my flesh will be healed and my body will be refreshed (Proverbs 3:7-8) daily.  Thank You Jesus for Your Promises!  Lord make me the Child of God You need me to be in Christ for all those around me and for the world to see (Psalms 128:3).  Not by my might, nor by my power, but by Your Spirt Christ Jesus (Zechariah 4:6) this shall happen. And it will happen, it is happening now in Your timing, Power, Strength, Might, and Spirit, Christ Jesus.  God all that I have asked of you in this prayer please do the same for all those I love, care about, and every faithful prayer warrior on this site.  Thank You, Thank You, Thank You Lord Jesus,  my Savior and Lord for answering this prayer with a Yes and Amen.
 
Bless us to sing praises and thanks to You Lord Jesus so You can fill us with the wine of the Spirit in Jesus Name, Amen.

Yes, I know it is not always easy to deal with family members who have a different life view....one often needs the Lord's help to walk on this tightrope....on the other hand, saying happy birthday in my opinion has nothing to do with approving of their spiritual state. It could mean that you in general wish them well and in your heart wish/pray they would make a better life choice than dancing with the devil, as you put it. ...

It says we are to bless even our enemies... 

Matthew 5:44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who insult you and persecute you.

I pray that you would receive all the wisdom from above that you need to deal wisely with your family members, the best you can... I pray in Jesus Name. amen

I agree with you about not remaining silent when your relatives state their view point , then you should be able to speak your mind as well . I also agree with Angeline about wishing your sister a Happy Birthday . I ask the Lord for His words to come from your mouth and touch their hearts in a way that only He can . Blessings !
