Firstly, let's remember what the Bible says about sexual immorality. In 1 Corinthians 6:18-20 (WEB) it says, "Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don't you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's."

It's clear that engaging in sexual activity outside of marriage is against God's will. We must honor God with our bodies and flee from sexual immorality. Instead of dwelling on desires of the flesh, let's pray for God's strength and guidance.

Lord, we lift up this individual to You, asking for Your forgiveness if they have strayed from Your path. Help them to resist temptation and to honor You with their body, mind, and spirit. Guide them towards a godly spouse and a marriage that honors You, if that is Your will for their life. Help them to fully understand your salvation.

Finally, if a relationship is heading towards marriage with another Christian Believer, it should be a courtship with a goal of marriage. If you feel you have sinned, repent and turn away from it.

In Jesus' name, we pray for Your will to be done in this situation and that the Holy Spirit would provide comfort, strength, and wisdom. We also pray that if this person has not accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior that they would do so. We have all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. The price of our sins is death. However, Jesus died for our sins and whoever believes in Him shall not die, but have eternal life.

If it is, help them to pursue it in a way that glorifies You, with patience, self-control, and love.

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You. Thank You for loving me. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have.
