Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today with heavy hearts, lifting up ###'s best friend who has experienced the loss of ### pesos and the resulting panic attack. Lord, You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We ask that You bring comfort and peace to ###'s friend during this difficult time.
Father, we pray that You would work in the hearts of those who took the money, convicting them to return what was stolen. Your Word tells us, "The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly" (John 10:10). We ask that You restore what has been lost and provide abundantly for ###'s friend.
Lord, we also pray for calmness and peace to replace the anxiety and panic that has overwhelmed ###'s friend. Your Word says, "You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you" (Isaiah 26:3). Help her to trust in You and to feel Your comforting presence.
We place this situation in Your hands, knowing that You are a God of justice and mercy. We trust in Your provision and Your plan, and we pray all of this in the precious name of Jesus. Amen.
