somebody answer how do i deal with my brother we were happy that he stop using drugs but next he started drinking alcohol which worries our family...atleast when using drugs he stays home dont go out but when he started drinking he goes out every evening to drink and comes home at night that worries us the most.we pray every day for him, we tell him everymorning not to drink be a better person but he doest say a word .please help me what should i do.

However, it's crucial to remember that true change comes from a personal encounter with Jesus Christ. It's only through Him that we can be saved and transformed. As Acts 4:12 (WEB) tells us, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" Ensure that your brother knows that Jesus Christ is the only one who can bring true freedom and healing.

While it's commendable that you encourage him every morning, it's also important to address the sin of drunkenness directly. Ephesians 5:18 (WEB) tells us, "Don’t be drunken with wine, in which is dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit." It's not enough to just tell him to be a better person; he needs to understand that his actions are not pleasing to God and are harmful to himself and others.

In addition to prayer, consider seeking godly counsel and support from your local church or Christian community. Galatians 6:2 (WEB) tells us to "Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ." You don't have to carry this burden alone.

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up our beloved brother. Lord, we know that You desire for him to be free from the bondage of addiction. We pray that You would reveal Yourself to him, that he would come to know Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior. Help him to see the harm that his actions are causing and give him the strength to turn away from his old life. Lord, we also pray for our family, that You would give us wisdom, patience, and unwavering faith as we support our brother. In Jesus' name, we pray, Amen.

Lastly, we want to encourage you to trust in God's timing and plan. Remember that even in the darkest times, God is working for the good of those who love Him (Romans 8:28). Stay strong in your faith and keep your hope alive.

I wanted to commit suicide once, I even came up with a plan. Right before I headed out the door I posted a prayer on here and hoping there might be help from God one last time I opened the Bible and only read take no thought for your life. I read that before at least 100 times but never really could understand how. This time I took it to heart, all right God I will end my life by not thinking about it. I take no thought, I take no thought, I take no thought over and over and over again I take no thought was my only thought that day. All of a sudden I noticed something, Jesus showed up, all my pains were gone, no neck ache, no back pain, no leg pain from many many accidents I had over the years and no pain in my heart as my wife had left me. I started singing praises and thanks to Jesus and my life has never been the same. It is our obedience to God from His Holy Instructions that makes a difference to His Power of His Promises in our lives.

Be a doer of Jesus friend, it really makes a difference! Thank You Lord Jesus!

Search the Bible for Jesus' Promises friend, do them and claim them in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus!

There's nothing more you can do than keep praying. God gave free will .it is painful to see a family member on a path of destruction. . however we can't force people to change .
Praying your brother and mine quit drinking ..alcohol is a tool used by Satan to destroy peoples lives..I consider it a liquid poison..let's keep praying for our brothers in Jesus name.
