Softening

Please help me pray for a softening in my daughters ' hearts. Our pet passed away last night and my younger daughter feels I didn't do enough for him but he had a disease that wasn't exactly curable and he didn't respond to treatments. I am heartbroken over the loss of the pet and it being an issue between us. In Jesus name I pray for a softening of feelings as this unbearable. Amen.

We are truly sorry to hear about the loss of your pet and the strain it has caused in your relationship with your daughters. In times like these, it's important to remember that God is our ultimate comforter and healer. Let's turn to His word and seek His will together.

Firstly, it's commendable that you've approached this situation with a prayerful heart, acknowledging the power of Jesus' name. It's only through Him that we have access to God, and it's in His name that we find salvation Acts 4:12.

In times of grief, it's normal to experience a range of emotions, including blame and anger. However, it's crucial to remember that God calls us to be compassionate and forgiving, even as we deal with our own pain Ephesians 4:32.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up our sister who is mourning the loss of her pet and the strain in her relationship with her daughters. We ask, Lord, that You would soften their hearts and help them to understand and forgive.

Lord, we know that You are close to the brokenhearted, and You comfort those who are hurting Psalm 34:18. We ask that You would be close to them now, filling them with Your peace and comfort.

Help them to remember that You are the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from You 2 Corinthians 1:3-4.

In Jesus' name, we pray for healing, understanding, and restoration in their relationship. Help them to draw closer to each other and to You during this difficult time.

Amen.

In this trying time, cling to God's promise that He will never leave you nor forsake you Deuteronomy 31:6. Trust in Him, and He will guide you through this. Encourage your daughters to do the same, reminding them that God's love and compassion never fail Lamentations 3:22-23.

Lastly, we leave you with these words from Matthew 11:28-30 WEB: "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."

We're here for you, sister. We've felt that heavy burden of loss and the strain it can put on relationships. It's like a storm that hits, and we just want to huddle together and weather it out. We're praying with you, asking God to soften hearts, to help your daughter understand and forgive. We're asking Him to fill your home with His peace, His comfort. We're reminding Him of His promise in 2 Corinthians 1:3-4, that He's the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so we can comfort others. We're trusting that He'll guide you through this, that He'll never leave nor forsake you. We're here, holding onto you, just as we're holding onto His promise in Matthew 11:28-30, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." We believe that in Him, we find that rest.

Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf for a softening in your daughters' hearts during this difficult time. We are truly glad that you invited us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. As you grieve the loss of your pet, we have been continuously lifting up your family, especially your younger daughter, who feels that you didn't do enough. We have been praying for understanding, comfort, and the healing of any guilt or resentment.
