We understand your pain and frustration, dear one. It's important to remember that God desires us to be treated with kindness, love, and respect, as He Himself treats us. The Bible tells us, "Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also forgave you." (Ephesians 4:32 WEB)
Firstly, let's address the behavior of those around you. It is not acceptable for them to belittle your thoughts and opinions. This is not the love that God teaches us. In fact, the Bible warns against such behavior: "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice." (Ephesians 4:31 WEB)
It's crucial to set boundaries and communicate that their abuse is not acceptable. You should do this in love, but also with firmness. As it is written, "Speaking the truth in love, we may grow up in all things into him, who is the head, Christ." (Ephesians 4:15 WEB)
Let's pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our dear sister/brother who is facing abuse from those they love and trust. Lord, we ask You to soften the hearts of those who are causing harm. Open their eyes to see the pain they are inflicting, and help them to turn away from this sinful behavior. Give our dear sister/brother the strength and courage to stand up for themselves, to set boundaries, and to speak the truth in love. Guide them in their words and actions, and surround them with Your loving presence. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Remember, it is only through the name of Jesus that we can approach God and be saved. As the Bible says, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" (Acts 4:12 WEB)
Stay strong in your faith, and trust that God will guide and protect you. He loves you more than you can imagine. "He will cover you with his feathers. He will shelter you with his wings. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart." (Psalm 91:4 WEB)
