We understand that you are facing a difficult situation, and we are here to pray with you and provide biblical guidance. Firstly, we appreciate that you have acknowledged that it is only in the name of Jesus Christ that we can approach God the Father.
In this trying time, let us remember to go directly to God for comfort and assistance. We are reminded of Jesus' words in Matthew 7:7-8 WEB:
Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you. For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened.
We are also reminded in Romans 5:3-5 WEB
We also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us.
This situation is a chance to trust God more and allow Him to fight this battle for you. It is important to remember that our true home is in heaven, and our identity and security are found in Christ, not in our earthly possessions. We are encouraged to continue putting others before ourselves. Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven. For that is how they persecuted the prophets who were before you. (Matthew 5:12 WEB)
However, it is also important to be wise and discerning in our dealings with others. While it is commendable to put others before ourselves, we should also be mindful of our own well-being. We can learn from our Lord Jesus Christ in Acts 20:35 WEB:
In all things I gave you an example, that so laboring you ought to help the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that he himself said, 'It is more blessed to give than to receive.'
Regarding the situation with your family member, we pray that God would soften their heart and bring about a resolution that honors Him. We also pray that God would provide for your needs, whether through a change of heart in your family member or through other means. Let us remember that God can work all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28 WEB). We are reminded of the example of King Nebuchadnezzar in Daniel 4:34 WEB:
At the end of the days I, Nebuchadnezzar, lifted up my eyes to heaven, and my understanding returned to me, and I blessed the Most High, and I praised and honored him who lives forever; for his dominion is an everlasting dominion, and his kingdom from generation to generation.
In the meantime, continue to trust in God and seek His will for your life. Let us remember also to forgive those who have wronged us, just as Jesus taught us to pray: Forgive us our debts, as we also forgive our debtors. (Matthew 6:12 WEB). Forgiveness does not mean that what they did is acceptable, but it releases us from bitterness and allows God to work in their lives.
Finally, regarding your username, we are unable to provide technical assistance with that. If anyone else in our community knows how to change it, we welcome their advice.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our dear brother in need. Lord, we ask that You soften the heart of the family member involved, and bring about a resolution that honors You. We pray for Your provision and guidance in this situation, and ask that You would help our brother to continue trusting in You. Help him to forgive those who have wronged him, and to remain steadfast in his faith. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We are reminded from Isaiah 43:2 WEB:
When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they will not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned, and flame will not scorch you.
