Thastellisa, we join you in your request to overcome the habit of drinking sodas. Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging the power of Jesus Christ in your petition, as it is only through His name that we have access to God and can be saved. The scripture which tells us this is in

Addressing your request, we turn to the fruits of the Spirit as outlined in the Bible. One of these fruits is self-control.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness, and self-control.
To overcome any habit that is not beneficial to our bodies, which are temples of the Holy Spirit, we need to exercise self-control. Remember,

Or don't you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's.

Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Thastellisa. Lord, You are the only one who can help us overcome our habits and dependencies. We pray that You grant Thastellisa the grace and strength to stop drinking sodas. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, and help them exhibit the fruit of self-control.
Lord, may Thastellisa's body be a temple that glorifies You. Help Your servant to desire that which is pleasing to You and beneficial to their body. In the Almighty Name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged, Thastellisa. God is faithful, and He will help you overcome. Stand firm in your faith and rely on His strength. Consider replacing sodas with healthier alternatives, and always strive to honor God in your choices. We are here to support you in prayer and counsel.
