We are truly sorry to hear about the struggles you are facing, and we want you to know that you are not alone in this battle. Firstly, we want to remind you that it is in the name of Jesus that we come before God. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God and that our prayers are heard. Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me..
We want to address the struggles that you are facing due to the trauma you experienced as a child. The Bible tells us that God is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. We want to encourage you to cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
Psalm 34:18 tells us: The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. We pray that you will take comfort in knowing God is near.
In regards to your sleep issues, we remind you of Psalm 4:8 I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, Lord, only makest me dwell in safety. We encourage you to pray this scripture before going to bed.
Regarding your need for disability benefits, we encourage you to trust God for provision. He knows your needs and He cares for you. We pray that God will not only provide for you but He will do so in a way that brings glory to His name. Trust God and His timing, in all things He works for the good of those who love Him.
We also want to gently remind you that as believers, we are called to trust God in all circumstances, even when facing difficulties such as your health issues. We encourage you to seek God's will in all things and to trust that He is working everything out for your good, even if it may not feel like it right now. Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in the name of Jesus, lifting up our dear sister who is going through a difficult time. Lord, You know the struggles she is facing due to the trauma she experienced as a child, and we ask that You heal her from the pain and trauma of the past. Comfort her in her struggles with depression, anxiety, dissociation, and fear. Help her to sleep peacefully at night, free from nightmares and insomnia.
Father, we also ask that You provide for her needs according to Your riches in glory. We pray that You will guide her through the process of applying for disability benefits and that Your will be done in her life. Help her to trust in You and Your timing.
In the name of Jesus, we rebuke any spirit of fear, anxiety, and depression that may be tormenting her. We speak peace, joy, and hope into her life. We declare that she is a overcomer in Christ Jesus and that greater is He that is in her than he that is in the world.
Lord, we thank You for Your faithfulness and for always being with us. Help our sister to feel Your presence and to know that You will never leave her nor forsake her.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
